meta: a prefix used to indicate a concept which is an abstraction from another concept
meditation: continued or extended thought; reflection; contemplation.
devout religious contemplation or spiritual introspection.
meander: to proceed by or take a winding or indirect course
helical paths winding you upward, closer to god, to a space for worship but also the journey is the (clichéd) destination
nave and aisles transformed from the traditional rectilinear and horizontal paths to a vertical spiral, a more experiential ascension
spiritual core: negative space or the space in between as space that god fills, cannot be inhabited but can be seen
